The Last Laugh is a hilarious and thought-provoking mockumentary that chronicles the attempted comeback of a “fallen star.”

Like every stand-up comic who’s ever stepped on stage, Jeff Woods, dreamed of “making it big.” Unlike most stand-up comics, Jeff actually got his chance. Supported by a loving girlfriend, a manager who believed in him, and a true best friend, Jeff was actually on his way to the mountaintop. But, an insecure ego, bad company, and all the drugs and alcohol you can imagine, caused Jeff’s career to quickly go “from good to bad.” Now, fresh out of rehab, Jeff is armed with new material, and a burning desire to “do it again,” the right way. Followed by a documentary crew, Jeff sets out on a hysterical and often heartbreaking quest to rebuild his broken relationships and rejuvenate his crushed comic career.
